Oli is an English author, speaker, cricket tragic and man who occasionally turns pedals: cyclist is a bit much. Which sounds odd when you discover that for 412 days he did cycle alone for 14,500 miles to watch a cricket match. But it wasn't just any cricket match. It was The Ashes, and Oli has since written a book about the journey, which is being published by Random House on 4 July 2013. Pre-order your hardback edition or Kindle version on Amazon now.
Anyway, after all that pedalling was done and the belly had returned, Oli upped sticks and headed for Africa to run a Rwandan cricket charity. Now he's back home, living in South London, from where he is brewing up the next - more sensible - adventure. As well as writing a book, Oli has spoken to audiences as diverse as four-year-old tribal Indians to a pub full of lawyers and a packed Odeon cinema. You can get in touch with Oli by email, on Twitter or on Facebook. |
